Hi!
I’m Donna Lendzyk
(pronounced lend-zik)
My journey started two decades ago when I started to have an inkling to apply my business skills and experience to creating more good in the world through business. I didn’t know how I was going to do it yet, but that moment where I committed to following that inkling indeed started quite a journey, which I continue on today…
Early on this journey, I was introduced to the world of strategic planning, facilitation and business coaching. I studied at Corporate Coach University for two years and completed my certification. I had the opportunity to meet and be personally coached and mentored by many of the industry greats including Thomas Leonard, the founder of the personal and business coaching industry.
The journey also found me advocating inside of a large telecom for the customer experience and customer loyalty. I viewed that if a business made positive experiences for their customers and employees, these people would bring a more positive demeanor to their home and place of employment. Therefore, they would face their day’s challenges with more positivity than if they had a more challenging experience earlier that day with their service provider.
Using my modelling, research, financial and marketing background and a strong team, we demonstrated how putting the customer first is good for the bottom line. And through being an internal activist for such a quest for almost a decade, I gained deep understanding of the challenges of being a leader standing for a big change.
Through these efforts, my focus on the customer and bottom-line results were recognized internationally by Peppers & Rogers Group with the coveted “Customer Champion Award,” which I was both honoured and humbled, knowing that it takes a strong team to make those results happen.
At one point I decided I wanted to make a bigger difference on our planet and help leaders who have a big vision in their hearts to create them and stepped out of the comfort of corporate employment and into independent consulting.
Since then, I have worked with leaders in various other industries including retail, online marketing, professional services and health care industries to create the changes they seek in their world.
A Fixation with Change
My fixation about change started at a young age.
I remember being intrigued by the “delta” symbol in High School Physics.
Later during a corporate training course I discovered the Chinese symbol for change. I learned that it was composed of two symbols together. The top part meant "chaos" and underneath it was the symbol for the word "hidden opportunity." I was so intrigued by this concept and how absolutely powerful this symbol message that I put that page from my training manual up on my office wall to spur my daily thinking for months. Over time it just got drilled in my everyday way of thinking that amongst chaos, find the hidden opportunity that lies beneath it and in my note-taking the symbol was a my short-hand symbol for the word “change.”
Years later while capturing notes on the whiteboard during a strategic planning session, I realized it wasn’t a symbol that was top of mind for all business leaders, and instead something unique to just a few of us.
It is through this fixation with change that led me to taking strategic change management training and getting Prosci certified, the world’s leading change management certification company. It led me to help a project team for a health care organization prepare to create significant transformational change for a more effective tomorrow at the same time they were juggling the challenges that COVID brought. It also has led me to work with leaders implementing significant IT infrastructure solutions for their employees and customers to make the transition smooth.
I now work with leaders who see the need for significant change in their organization. Change that calls for operating in ways that better optimize the use of their resources, empower their employees while meeting their customers’ changing needs and expectations. I work with these modern leaders to craft a clear and compelling vision, identify and enrol their key stakeholders and create a customized plan of action. And as we implement, I am in their corner every step of the way, serving as an objective sounding board & strategist.

A Life-Long Learner
Learning as a daily practice started as a child with my father being a school teacher and both parents committed to my schooling at a young age. I was delighted when I had my own school desk at home to sit and do my reading or arithmetic workbooks or practice my printing, writing and drawing. Reading Dr Seuss “Hop on Pop” or Childcraft / Encyclopedia were joys to me, discovering so many new worlds through them.
I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Marketing and General Business. Within a few years I enrolled to strengthen my financial and business education and as a result, I earned my Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation of which I continue to be a member of the provincial organization.
Over the years, I continued further studies to further fine-tune my skill sets on a continual basis. It’s like I always have one or two topics on the go. It has included Agile training like Advanced Certified Scrum Master, training and preparation for Project Management Professional certification as well as training in Conscious Capitalism and marketing tools such as study of power copywriting and storytelling.
Overall, my 20+ years of business experience is supported by a solid education and certifications including:
Bachelor of Commerce Degree, with majors in Marketing and General Business
The professional Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) professional designation
Prosci Change Management Certification
Advanced Certified Scrum Master
Gold Mastery Certification in Reinventing Strategic Planning
Essential Facilitation and Corporate Business Coaching to name a few.

While helping to drive change has a serious angle to it, it doesn’t mean that my approach is being serious all the time. Instead my approach is based upon 3 fundamentals that are part of my DNA:
Be Good - Show respect for each other in the actions we take each day.
Do Good - Make a positive difference through our everyday actions.
